The second burglary of the semester on South Campus occurred during the morning hours on Wednesday on the 400 block of Chinook Drive.

Items were carried out of the apartment Wednesday morning in the non-forced entry burglary. Department of Public Safety officers and Syracuse Police Department officers responded to the scene. The investigation was turned over to SPD, said Jennifer Horvath, public information officer, in an email. An SPD car and crime scene investigation truck were at the scene late Wednesday morning.

SPD did not have further updates on the case at the time.
