A suspect was arrested early Thursday in relation to the recent South Campus burglaries, according to an email sent to South Campus residents on Friday.

The individual arrested is not affiliated with SU, according to the email. A student who reported suspicious behavior to Department of Public Safety officials at about 4:40 a.m. Thursday helped facilitate the arrest.

DPS officials could not be reached to comment.

Victims of the burglaries are in the process of regaining the stolen property, according to a DPS update issued Friday. All South Campus residents are reminded to keep their apartments secure.
