Syracuse’s 2016-17 conference schedule is out, and the Orange’s slate is highlighted by home games against Duke, Virginia and Louisville, as well as trips to North Carolina, Louisville and Notre Dame.

Syracuse is slated to play on an ESPN network or CBS 15 times, with a Big Monday game against UNC on Jan. 16. The Orange also faces presumed No. 1 Duke on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Here are three takeaways from the schedule.
