Power restored to several SU campus buildings Thursday

A power outage swept through much of Syracuse University’s Main Campus on Thursday at about 7:15 p.m. Power was restored by about 8 p.m.
Several buildings including Hinds Hall, Hendricks Chapel, the Hall of Languages, Booth Hall, Bowne Hall, Lawrison, Watson Theater, Slocum Hall, Crouse College, Life Sciences Complex and Haven Hall lost power.
Elevators were stuck in Haven Hall and the Brewster, Boland, Brockway complex when power was out.

Sarah Scalese, SU’s senior associate vice president for university communications, confirmed to The Daily Orange that power had been restored.
